    • Eternal life is to know: (Greek: “Ginosko”) to know by  experience, intimately and personally
    • Fellowship: partnership, (literally) participation, or (social) intercourse
    • God’s jealousy: He wants something for you, not from you.
    • ‭‭13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah‬ ‭29:13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
    • 15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.‭‭ II Timothy‬ ‭2:15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
    • You learn to be led by the inward witness by testing it against the Word.
      • 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, Romans‬ ‭8:16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
      • 1 ‭‭I tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit, Romans‬ ‭9:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
        • Conscience: the voice of your spirit

    • It all starts with peace.
      • ‭‭15 And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds…] Colossians‬ ‭3:15a‬ ‭AMPC‬‬
        • As you mature in your relationship with and learn to hear from Jesus, your understanding is increased and His communication gets more detailed
          • But you still have to navigate the wilderness, and there is a degree of choice.
    • Wisdom
      • Sometimes if the answer isn’t clear, it’s because you have the wisdom to make the decision yourself–or God wants you to learn wisdom.
    • Initiation
      • Perspective is everything.
      • We weren’t meant to figure life out on our own. God wants to father us. But, we have to be in a posture to receive it. What that involves is a new way of seeing, a fundamental re-orientation of how we look at life and our situation in it.
    • My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. James‬ ‭1:2-4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
      • Count it joy: to lead, i.e. command (with official authority); figuratively, to deem, i.e. consider:—account, (be) chief, count, esteem, governor, judge, have the rule over, suppose
        • How? Knowing (ginosko)
        • Trying: the proving, that by which something is tried or proved, a test
        • Faith = persuasion
        • Patience: cheerful (or hopeful) endurance, constancy
          • Faith is like the (car) break that brings about the desired result. Patience is like the foot that keeps the break applied until the vehicle is brought to a stop. Patience keeps faith applied in the face of adverse circumstances until the result is manifested.
        • Perfect: complete (in various applications of labor, growth, mental and moral character, etc.); neuter completeness:—of full age, man, perfect
        • Complete: complete in every part, i.e. perfectly sound (in body):—entire, whole
          • Perfect and complete have to do with what you are. Lacking nothing has to do with what you have.
    • ‭‭17 and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble. Mark‬ ‭4:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
